I help businesses communicate. I got my start professionally as a writer, but eventually realized that my technical skills would be quite an asset in marketing campaigns, website design, and business planning.

Hitting the freelance market in 2008, I transitioned from corporate gigs as a content writer and marketing coordinator into a realm I could potentially have more influence. I seek knowledge in every area I can, and my writing has ranged from tax resolution to sedation dentistry, from poetry to marketing.

I think the “jack of all trades; master of none” saying is crap, as it understates the value of being multifaceted. Some of the most interesting and important people in history have been those that refused to settle for one path. “Master of none” is glass-half-empty thinking. I prefer to think of it as “jack of all trades; above average in most.”

I made the move to NC from Rochester, NY in 2006, yearning for a change. Travel is an aspiration of mine, as I believe life is all about the stories you’ve collected.  I draw inspiration from meeting people and experiencing new places, and I try to learn something new every day.

I’m an avid fan of computers, gadgets, and A/V equipment.  Like many bloggers, I’m a bit of an internet-addict.
